Description

This large star is an absolute eye-catcher with jeans or a woollen jumper. Beautiful Native American Zuni handwork from the 1970s.
Disc-shaped silver brooch (stamped STERLING) with turquoise majolica and glass rods from the 1970s.

The round shield is adorned with a large sun. It is composed of a shiny, convex silver disc around which 16 fine shuttles of turquoise glass paste are set in jagged frames using the needle-point technique. The base is hammered and decorated with symmetrically arranged silver beads and cord wire. 16 round, turquoise majolica discs in jagged bezel settings are attached to the sun disc in a star shape. Silver spheres attached to the disc round off the harmonious look of the brooch.

The pin is secured with a ball clasp.
