Decorative brooch pendant in silver (stamped 835 and brand stamp "Fischland") with dark clear amber with sun flares by Fischland, Ribnitz from the 1950s.
The oval amber cabochon in the centre of the silver needle is framed by a wreath of fish, seagulls and starfish.
The pin has a safety ball clasp. A wide eyelet also allows the jewellery to be worn as a pendant.
The well-known fish motif goes back to designs by Walter Kramer, the founder of the "Fischland" brand (Georg Kramer company, Ribnitz), from the 1930s.
