Straight silver ring (stamped 925) with carnelian and marcasites from the 1920s.
The wide ring head sets a rectangular carnelian plate with two wide, notched lobes. The large stone is fringed on the sides by three bands set with 42 marcasites that drape over the ring shoulders.
The ring head is pleasantly flat and nestles well on the finger.
Due to its straight lines, the ring is also very suitable as a gentleman's jewellery.
