Representative Biedermeier pendant to open in gold doublé from around 1850.
The lavishly ornamented front of the oval medallion is decorated with rows of pearl rods, hearts, volutes and an attached plaque. The back of the amulet is decorated with crosshatched geometric patterns, within which a coat of arms-shaped, smooth area is recessed into which a monogram can be engraved.
Two photos (approx. 2 x 1.2 cm) can be inserted inside. The original frames are still present.
