Delicate brooch in red gilded silver (stamped 800) with turquoises and seed pearls from around 1870.
Two horseshoes are mounted on a round bar, which is bordered by two turquoises in attached knob settings. They are set with five turquoise and four gray seed pearls each. Between the two horseshoes there is a narrow bar, which ends with palmettes, also decorated with small seed pearls. The pin is provided with a simple hook clasp.
This is a typical piece of commemorative or memory jewelry from the 19th century historicism.
