Handmade silver ring (stamped 925) with lapis lazuli inlays from the 1980s.
The wide silver ring is set with an inlay of lapis lazuli over the ring head and the ring shoulders. The geometric pattern is made up of areas filled with lapis lazuli that have been cut out of the silver so that a silver stripe can be seen between the fields.
An ornate oval plaque sits atop the ring's high set head. The beautiful blue design extends far across the wide ring shoulders. From the inside the ring is worked smoothly closed, so that it lies very comfortably on the finger.
