Description
Gilt silver ring (stamped 830) with amethyst from around 1910.
The finely worked ring head is set with a faceted oval amethyst in a very dark colour with natural inclusions. The gemstone sits securely in a high bezel setting decorated by a crown-like band of volutes. The playful ring shoulders lead apart to the ring rail, which is elegantly made of two contrasting bands.
