Filigree art nouveau pendant in gold doublé with genuine opal and ruby coloured glass stone from around 1900.
The wide, drop-shaped frame of the pendant is open in the middle. Inside sits another drop decorated with filigree ornaments of spirals and leaf motifs. A small, round opal in bright turquoise blue and a red glass stone adorn the fine design.
Around the turn of the century, jewellery made of gold doublé, sometimes with real stones, was often produced in jewellery factories for "everyone".
