Handmade silver ring (stamped 800) from the 1920s.
The fancy ring head lies broadly over the finger, typical of Art Deco. An oval, soft purple amethyst in a bezel setting is set into a rectangular face with a geometric pattern of matte and shiny silver faces.
The set ring shoulders extend broadly over the rail at the sides. Also on the long side, the ring is intricately designed with an openwork pattern that catches the light for the stone to shine.
