Silver necklace (stamped 925 and uninterpreted maker's marks Libra JR) with Pacific corals. Indian handwork from the 1970s.
The necklace is formed by five bear paw shaped elements. They have the shape of wide drops with five claw-shaped openings each. In the centre of each element is a dark red coral in natural form.
Four smaller paw elements, which are connected to each other by long bars, frame a large pendant, at the end of which two silver feathers hang in an eyelet.
A sturdy chain made of elongated rectangular silver eyelets carries the centre piece. A small hook forms the chain clasp.
