Rare silver bracelet in the Egyptian Revival style of the 1920s from the studio Richard Waibel, Pforzheim (stamped 800 and maker's mark RWP).
The band consists of nine, flexibly connected chain links. Between six smooth oval segments sit three elements of scarabs cut in dark blue lapis lazuli.
A simple spring hook serves as the clasp.
Amulets in the shape of scarabs were popular motifs of ancient Egypt, which were again in great demand in the course of Egyptian fashion after the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in the early 1920s.
