Description
Pleasant silver ring (stamped 925 and uninterpreted designer mark) with dark amethyst cabochon from the 1960s.
The beautiful dark purple amethyst has a very special shimmer. It has natural inclusions and is cut as an oval cabochon. The stone is held in a smooth rim setting, which is openly framed by a silver band. The band lies sloping as ring shoulders on the ring rail, so that the ring head appears round.
