Round medallion in silver-coloured alpacca (nickel silver) from around 1900 with enamelled floral wreath.
The round pendant has a large loop and on the front side a lid lined with a pearl bar pattern. The centre is decorated with a wreath of enamelled roses with pink and yellow flowers. The back is smoothly worked.
Under the lid (depth approx. 0.3 - 0.4 cm) there is space for small things such as a letter, lock of hair, herbs, powder puff, powder ... there are no limits to your imagination ...
The size of the pendant allows it to be worn on a short chain in the décolleté as well as on a longer chain over a jumper. Instead of a chain, a leather strap or brocade cord can also be used.
