Description
Tulasilver pendant (stamped 800 and unknown maker's mark A. M.) from around 1900.
The pendant is decorated all around with a simple striped pattern in niello technique. The medallion with sliding mechanism contains two mirrors.
This type of jewelry was originally worn on long chains at belly level around the neck. Very beautiful, however, the pendant also works on a black brocade cord.
