Description
Geometrically worked silver ring (stamped 925 and maker's mark) with amethyst from the studio Kapitaan Kulta, Finland of the 1970s.
The eye-catching ring head consists of a flat cylinder, in the centre of which a light purple amethyst is set in a round cut. A short truncated cone is set below the cylinder and completely encloses the stone. This body is attached directly to the wide, solid ring rail. The ring rail has been subsequently opened at the side and chamfered at the open ends, so that the ring size is slightly variable.
