Dainty pendant to open in rose gold platinum with enamel from around 1860.
On the front of the oval medallion the inscription IN MEMORY is set into a band of black enamel. The band ends in the shape of an intertwined belt - symbol of friendship and solidarity - the enamel in the tip of the "belt buckle is damaged. Fine chiselled patterns are worked into the red gold surfaces.
The back of the amulet is decorated with a flower ornament and offers space for engraving a short name or monogram.
Two photos (approx. 1.6 x 1.2 cm) can be inserted inside. The original frames are still present.
