Description
Lush brooch in silver (unstamped, tested) with partial gilding and turquoises from around 1870.
The openwork pin in shield form is elaborately decorated with baroque ornaments such as rocailles. Four round turquoises in gilded settings decorate the rim. In the centre, a cherub with stylised wings is emblazoned in a gilded halo.
The pin is fitted with a simple hook clasp.
