Description
Large oval silver brooch (stamped 800, HANDWORK and company mark Haus Eklöh) with violet amethyst. Made for the company Haus Eklöh, Lüdenscheid in the Art Nouveau period around 1900.
The handmade plate of the large pin is made of hammered silver, into which rose blossoms and leaves are chased from behind. The bright, lilac-coloured amethyst quartz in an oval cabochon cut has enlivened inclusions, it sits in the centre of the plate in a frame setting.
The pin is retrofitted and has a plain hook clasp.
