Description
Round silver brooch (unstamped, tested) in shield form with pink crystal glass from around 1900.
The fine Art Nouveau handwork consists of an outer circle decorated with 20 raised ornate rosettes (diameter 0.5 cm). Within is an octagon with a delicate cord border, decorated with applied silver threads in the shape of a snail. In the center is enthroned a pink stone made of oval cut crystal glass.
The pin has a simple hook closure.
