Description
Elegant pendant in rose gold doublé with finely cut shell cameo from around 1880/90.
The cameo shows a Greek woman's bust in half profile with elaborate headdress and tiara. A bouquet of flowers additionally decorates the hairstyle. A dress in typical Greek manner lies over the shoulders of the figure.
The oval shell in brown-white is held by a flower-like frame in red gold-doublé made of open-worked half rounds with a pearl bar pattern and beads.
