Solid necklace in silver (stamped 925 TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO and various maker's marks) with tiger's eye by Erika Hult de Corral, Mexico from the TAXCO workshops. The stamps allow a dating between 1966 and 1970.
The striking choker is composed of five fixed links that are flexibly connected to each other. In the centre is a shiny, wide element (11.2 cm) in a softly curved shape, in the middle of which is an elongated oval tiger's eye cabochon. Two silver bands are effectively laid over the velvety shimmering stone.
Two open, elongated triangles (length 5.8 cm) form the side extension.
The sturdy clasp is fastened with short chains made of ring eyelets.
The slightly curved design of the individual elements makes the necklace nestle comfortably around the neck and neck area.
