Description
Unusual shield brooch from the German Historicism from the time around 1880.
In the round base of tortoiseshell-colored resin are dainty inlays such as stars, flowers and leaves made of white metal and mother-of-pearl. A square meander pattern frames the center. The brass pin is secured with a simple hook clasp.
