Pendant with a large blossom of Idar-Oberstein agates.
Eight gray-blue grained, polished agate plates are set in the shape of a blossom on a slate plate and rounded off with a beautiful eye agate in the center. The stones from the 19th century were made into an amulet in the 1980s in a plain, handmade silver setting (stamped 800) with a cord edge.
These kind of stones were cut in Idar-Oberstein in the 19th century and delivered to Scotland, where the "typical Scottish Pebble jewelry" was made from them.
The pictured chain is not included. If you need a chain to this piece of jewelry, please write to us, we will be happy to advise you.
