The fine pin is in the shape of a banjo. The instrument is very realistically reproduced: The four strings made of metal wire lie over the black fingerboard and run over a jagged bridge towards the body of the instrument. The large round head is covered with royal blue transparent enamel. The embossed background with a floral palmette pattern shimmers through elegantly.
The brooch has a safety ball clasp.
