Description
Arabesque silver ring (stamped 925) with German jasper from around 1900.
The oval cabochon of blue coloured jasper is held by a frame setting with a fine pearl bar pattern. A wide, openwork silver frame of chased volutes and palmettes surrounds the beautifully grained stone. The ring head is also beautifully decorated from below with a narrow, ornamented rim. Notched ring shoulders form a harmonious transition to the smooth ring rail.
