Extravagant flower ear jewellery that can also be worn without pierced ears. Looks great with a summer dress or even with the "little black dress".
Earclips in gold-plated silver (stamped 925S STERLING NORWAY and maker's mark) with white enamel by Aksel Holmsen, Norway from the 1940s.
The decorative earwires sit directly on the earlobe. They are shaped like a white calla with a large gilt stamp in the centre. The goblet-shaped petal is covered on the inside with white enamel on a textured background. The gold coloured flower edge and the indicated stamens set harmonious counterpoints to the white.
The screw closure is the older version of the ear clip and allows a good control of the pressure and tension on the earlobe.
