Elegant pendant in silver (unstamped, tested) with large amethyst and white-grey seed pearls in historicism. Precious handwork from around 1880.
A large (40 ct), dark purple amethyst in a classical oval cut of very good quality is the dominant element of the amulet. It is open set and held by 28 fine lobes. The beautiful stone is elegantly framed by a delicate wreath of 26 white-grey seed beads. The eye-catching loop of the pendant is decorated with a small fan set with eleven more seed beads.
