Description
Characteristic silver ring (stamped 800, HANDMADE and uninterpreted maker's mark HK?) with amethysts from the 1950s.
The handmade ring head has the classic kidney-shape of the 1950s. The attached plate is decorated with asymmetrically attached silver beads and silver wire, and a dark amethyst cabochon, also kidney-shaped, is set in a smooth bezel setting. Plainloops of silver wire are attached to the ring shoulders.
The ring has been subsequently reduced in size, and the master mark and stamp have been expertly incorporated.
