Description
Round silver brooch (stamped 900 and maker's initials G.F.) with clear amethyst from the 1930s.
The harmonious handwork has the shape of a whirlpool of two spirals running in opposite directions. One surface is made of polished silver, the other has contrasting hammered structures. In the centre is a light purple amethyst of good quality set in a round cut.
The pin has been subsequently fitted with a safety ball clasp.
