Description

Gold-plated silver bracelet (unstamped, tested) with cabochons of moonstones, opal, malachite, green tourmaline and turquoise from the 1930s.
The handmade band consists of eight rectangular elements, concavely curved and each set in the centre with a round gemstone cabochon in a smooth bezel setting. There are four good Ceylon moonstones, each alternating with a turquoise, a bottle-green tourmaline, a malachite and an opal. The chain links are connected by two clasps each, which stretch across the back of the plates. They are flexibly held by rectangularly curved eyelets. Because of the underlay of the clasps, the band lies very comfortably on the wrist.
The buckle is almost invisibly incorporated and is additionally secured with a safety chain.
