Description
Round art nouveau pendant in red-golddoublé with ruby coloured crystals from around 1900.
The openwork pendant is worked in the pure geometric design of the Art Nouveau. Three bright red triangles of crystal glass hang drop-like from rods in the round opening of the red gold plate. The concentric frame is embossed with clear Art Nouveau ornaments.
Around the turn of the century, jewellery in faux materials such as gold doublé with glass stones was often produced in jewellery manufactories for "everyone".
