Handcrafted cufflinks in silver (stamped 835 and branded Fischland) by the Fischland workshop from the 1950s with rectangular, clear amber cabochons interspersed with sunspots.
The forest honey-colored stones are set in rectangular silver settings closed from the back and decorated with the characteristic Fischland fish and starfish worked in openwork. The stable bars are held with simple, locking toggles.
The motif of the swimming fish goes back to designs by Walter Kramer, the founder of the brand “Fischland” (company Georg Kramer, Ribnitz), from the 1920/30s.
