Item currently out of stock
Description

Handmade pendant in silver (stamped 830 and various maker's marks) by David Andersen, Norway from around 1900.
The amulet is made of an oval silver disc. Finely handcrafted, it features an engraved and embossed frame for a vignette depicting a Nordic water dragon with an ornamentally entwined tail.
The decorative piece of jewellery was originally a brooch and was subsequently professionally transformed into a pendant.
The size of the pendant allows it to be worn on a short chain in the decoleté as well as on a long ribbon or chain at chest or belly level.

The chain shown is not included in the delivery. If you need a chain to go with this piece of jewellery, please write to us and we will be happy to advise you.
