Description
Handmade silver ring (stamped 835) with pale amethyst from the 1920s.
The original ring head lies broadly over the finger, typical of Art Deco. In the centre, a delicate violet amethyst with an unusual facet cut is set in a bezel setting. The ring head is raised and worked open over a gallery, so that the light can be caught for the stone. The wide, curved ring shoulders taper towards the ring.
