Description
The pin convinces with its reduced design and yet it is unmistakably Art Deco. It is a noble eye-catcher on a light blouse as well as on red or light grey.
Art Deco stick brooch in silver (unstamped, tested) with haematite (bloodstone) and marcasites from the 1920s.
The triangular stick becomes somewhat wider towards the centre. There, in four lobes between two rows of three marcasites each, sits a boat-shaped hematite. The stone has the typical grey-black iron sheen of the bloodstone, which is accentuated by an unusual facet cut.
The pin is provided with a safety pin clasp.
