Description

Handmade bar brooch in light gold plated silver (stamped 835 HANDARBEIT, AMI and maker's mark) with cut citrine by Adolf Mayer, Frankfurt/Main from the 1920s.
The unusual brooch is designed in the functional style of the Bauhaus. Two concave curved long surfaces are joined at a bar. 12 attached beads are symmetrically placed in the grooves. A round citrine of clear, bright colour in a faceted round cut is set in the centre of the bar in a notched bezel setting.

Unfortunately, the safety catch of the original safety ball clasp of the pin is no longer present. However, the pin can be closed well via the normal hook.
